About Us

Jessie Williams is a native of Louisiana, where he spent his childhood dirt biking across the trails and tracks of the south. While attending Penn State University, he fell in love with surfing, traveling from coast-to-coast in search of epic waves. After college, he relocated to Portland, Oregon for graduate school, where he spent every free moment camping, fishing and surfing. With an International MBA, he was hired at Columbia Sportswear, and eventually Nike, to create products and curate experiences for consumers around the world. Work took him all around the world, where he’d travel and stay at rentals and AirBNBs, with the goal of using them as a “Basecamp” for his adventures, as he skied his way through Japan, biked his way through France, surf-searched through the Pacific and hiked his way across Switzerland. Stateside, he adventured with his family, always obsessing the experience and curating the journey. Between work and travel, he developed a keen eye for the premium, bespoke and memorable. 

After 20 years in the corporate world, Jessie relocated to Whitefish, Montana to give his family (his wife Kyna and daughters Nevan and Emmy) a better way of life in the mountains. After purchasing and upgrading his own property to maximize the return on investment in the local rental market, Jessie realized he could do that for others. He founded Basecamp Property Management with the hopes of creating opportunity and potential for homeowners, investors and adventure-seekers across the Flathead Valley.

Jessie is best known for his attention to detail, the level of thought and care that he puts into every single action and his love of adventure (from snowboarding to mountain biking and rafting – he loves everything the Flathead Valley has to offer). It brings Jessie joy to help others have the time of their lives, and looks forward to bringing your Basecamp to life for you, your family, friends and guests.
